Problems with finger magnets - General Discussions on IAYH

I was hypnotizing some of my relatives at a get together and realized that I had never really got around to doing finger magnets before as I'd been getting on fine so far without it. But I decided for a change so I tried it out.
The only problem was that their fingers started coming together so quickly without me saying anything that I couldn't get round to the suggesting and pretending like I'm actually influencing them in any way.

In every case I had to ditch the finger magnets and do some other stuff like hand magnets and some of my own unique ones before I hypnotized them.

Can someone help me with the mechanics of finger magnets?

well the finger magnets is a natural response if you jest put your hands together and relax your fingers so what you want to do is challenge them tell them try to keep them apart thats what i do it works jest as well but takes more focus but if they get to resistant say the more you try to keep them apart the stronger magnets get and the closer the fingers get

I usually keep the fingers separated, and I tell the subject that when I remove my finger, his fingers will start coming together.
